I was delighted to find and read this book which brings together most of the key principles, core skills, induction and deepening techniques of hypnosis in one place. Its delightfully consise and accurate while (mostly) giving you all the information you need.
While there is a lot more than this to hypnosis, within it's terms of reference it's brilliant! Look forward to Volume 2.

I'd now recommend [ASIN:0757307779 Richard Bandler's Guide to Trance-Formation: How to Harness the Power of Hypnosis to Ignite Effortless and Lasting Change]]as a suggested 'must read' book for anyone who is genuinely interested in NLP and hypnosis. From the beginner to the most experienced. It's practical and it's deeply human. And this brings NLP up to date from the incredibly useful Milton and Meta models to the latest approaches.

I'm delighted with Richard's new book. Simple strategies and approaches to deal with most of life's opportunities and challenges together with highly effective techniques based on 'sub-modality change' and 'spinning feelings'. NLP for 2008 and beyond.
