This is the first book from 2012 Great British Bake Off winner John Whaite. However it stands alone from GBBO and is a real down to earth cookbook which offers the reader some delightful recipes whilst also offering some great baking tips.
The 'Baker's Notes' and 'Pastry-Making Tips' sections are a nice touch to the book and offer incredibly useful guides which would assist both the novice and veteran baker.
