5.0 out of 5 stars Truth within truth, 29 July 2014
Completely absorbing and at times visceral account of two years in Sicily between the ages of 7 and 9 of an English born Sicilian boy who returns to a life in England - but forever changed by his experiences. It's unlike any book I've ever read - a blend of the humdrum, violence, mythology, honor and silence. In Sicily Francesco quickly rises to lead a local 'gang' and learns what is necessary to survive. Garmin Forerunner 110 GPS Running Watch - Grey by Garmin
5.0 out of 5 stars Get running, 16 May 2014
Simple running watch - easy to use. Found satellite easy enough. Back light works well and good clear measures of distance (miles or km) and average pace [I don't use much else]. If I have to find fault the beep when you go through 1km is rather feeble. If the strap breaks it will be expensive as it's integral with the watch - so be careful!

3.0 out of 5 stars Oh well ...., 16 May 2014
The trailer for the movie sets up what looks like a fascinating and thought provoking movie. Can't say I took to the movie though - all of the characters are unsavoury and the backdrop scenario against which the whole thing plays out is just too shallow and disappointing. Mr Willis was as entertaining as ever though - just needs a plot with more substance.
