5.0 out of 5 stars revival of thrash...., 15 Feb 2007
This album must have been an absolute joy for the bay area thrash fans and the world alike at a time when music was awash with sub-standard rubbish such as spice girls, backstreet boys etc. With the grunge phenomenon withering away, the metal world really needed a jolt and this album did the job. It is very very heavy and is not easy to listen to at first, however this album really grows on you and soon enough one cannot get enough of it.

It's just good ol' hard rock n roll, which we have come to love and expect from AC/DC. Well, each song on this album from the first track to the last one is a treat and features great riffs, fun lyrics and cool solos from Angus. And always there is tight and precise rythym guitars from malcolm and phil rudd provides a good beat and not much to say about cliff williams except he does what is expected of him. And the vocals. The department sadly tainted with tragedy, yet is the highlight of this album. Whilst you cannot compare Bon Scott with… Read more
