This brush is of the lower speed, alternate rotating head variety. I feel it gives better cleaning at the gum-line than the 'up and down' type brushes. It's packed with high tech features if you feel you need them. It has a feature to tell you if you're brushing too hard, and the remote sensor picks this up wirelessly and will score you out of 5 stars depending how well you brush - a good feature for the kids especially. Also nice is the visual indicator of brushing time. It's a little gimmicky, but it does include a clock, so if nothing else, you can use it to tell the time when you're not brushing your teeth. I don't tend to use the different brushing modes myself, I favour the default,… Read more

Looking every bit the part of an Apple accessory and feeling very sturdy in its aluminium casing - this drive is the smallest genuine RAID device I've used. Whether you use it in RAID 0 (striped) for pure performance with no redundancy or in RAID 1 (mirrored) for added data protection depends on your requirements. I personally don't see a portable spinning drive device like this as a safe haven for my important data, so my preference is to use it as a very fast high capacity external drive for editing video and images. I capture large HD video clips on my Atomos Ninja and edit them on the Passport. Performance is almost equivalent to an SSD drive when in RAID 1, but at a fraction of the… Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Top Hole!, 15 July 2014

Really robust and functional punch. The instructions suggest that you use both hands to operate, but I;ve found it will work with the application of one hand in the centre of the bar. Surprisingly easy to punch through a large number of sheets due to the high degree of leverage in the mechanism. Punches cleanly with no 'hanging chads' on the last couple of sheets. Has a very precisely placed stop to allow you to position A4 sheets in exactly the same place every time. Chads are ejected sideways from the top of the hollow punch cutters sideways into hoppers which can be emptied later. They have a large capacity, so I'd imagine several reams of paper could be punched before this would need to… Read more
