The book.

This is a delightful read about one of the unsung heroes of Biology. A man who was more interested in nature and how it worked than getting published in a rigid and slow moving system.
This is a biography with a difference, Ullica Segerstrale has cleverly included many facts about Hamilton but at the same time got the reader into his head and way of thinking about nature, no mean feat ! The book is beautifully written and holds your interest from the first page.

Algebra II by Chris Monahan

I love maths and reading about it, teaching it and using it in my work as a lecturer and business owner.

The book

This is a continuation from the book Algebra I and deals with some of the more involved sections in Algebra. This book is part of McGraw Hills 'Practice makes Perfect' series which is very good and well priced.

Structure

The book is structured that the reader can just do a single Algebra topic or follow it as a course. There is plenty here with lots of worked examples and explanations accompanied by exercises with answers.
