900W/1800W Electric Fireplace Heater with Flame Fi&hellip by Marko Electrical

I wanted a little fire for a summerhouse and looked everywhere for something that was reasonably priced but was small and effective. I was impressed by the reviews on this fire so I ordered it and I am happy to say it meets my expectations. It is small and light, portable enough for me to move from the house to the summerhouse or move it from room to room if I want in the winter.

The fire produces quite a heat and it warms a small room quickly. You can run it as 900w or 1800w and there is an adjustable thermostat. The front panel comes down and you can adjust the settings easily. You donít need to set it up, it is ready just to plug in and use. I like how you can turn the heater… Read more
Fladen Powershot Catapult FLADEN
5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful!, 8 Sep 2014
I bought this to scare some big wood pigeons which are hanging around my garden, bullying smaller birds and creating quite a mess. I have been using little dried peas and the noise is enough to scare the birds but not anyone/anything if it accidently ricochets is their direction.

I would be wary about giving this to a child to play with,… Read more

I stumbled across Hunter and the Bear accidentally on YouTube and I am so glad I did as they are fast becoming one of my favourite bands. Some people have compared them to Mumford and Sons and while I can see the similarity I think it is unfair to tarnish them as a clone. Their music sometimes feels folky/poppy (like Pick me up) whereas the slower Rise seems to have gospel, country and classic rock influences (at least to me it does).

I love the rich, warm tones of the vocals and the lyrics fit really well with the music. It's difficult to describe but there is something about this band that feels special. The songs are dynamic, changing in pace and style but it's a nice blend of… Read more
