I heard Sam Willetts reading his poetry at the TS Elliot prize and was inspired to buy this book. It is even better on the page; accessible yet giving more and more at each reading. He may be another member of the Oxbridge Poetry Mafia but there is no posing and preening, just beautiful poetry that makes the minutes vanish. I haven't got much money at the moment but this was a wonderful buy - I haven't skipped a single word.

I Can Make You Thin (New edition - book & CD)
If you can get past the cheap paper, large print and repetition in this apparently slight self-help book book, then put aside half an hour a day (whilst not driving or operating machinery!) to listen to the cd: it really does work.
I've stopped fridge nibbling, cut down my portion sizes, learnt to say no to second helpings and finishing what was on my plate.
AND LOST 3 KILOS IN 3 WEEKS.
The good thing is that this is not a diet but rather a complete rethink of the way you eat.So hopefully I won't revert to my bad old ways.

This feels like it could be great BUT I'm never going to know because there are 2 major problems with the way it's been produced.
1 There are 2 cds with 2 tracks on each. Yet there are 32 lessons - do the maths.
I'm sure Pepi is a lovely woman, but I really do not want to listen to her introduction telling me how her career progressed, every time I try to revise the first classes.
If this had been broken down into 32 tracks it would have been easy to use rather than almost impossible, which it is now.
2 Pepi keeps referring to the book - there is no book with this CD
Everything about this is just sloppy.
