AmazonBasics High-Speed HDMI Cable 9.8 Feet/3.0 m &hellip by AmazonBasics
I do not have other makes of cable for side-by-side comparison of image quality, but the result with this cable is completely satisfactory. This cable is being used in a static, domestic setup, so no experience gained of reliability when frequently handled, but quality looks good.
The price was better than many others - some were ridiculously expensive. It is hard to see what possible benefit their higher price might bring.
Product received within a couple of days - well ahead of promised schedule. Well done.
Never Go Back: (Jack Reacher 18) by Lee Child

Lee Child has produced another gripping episode in the free-wheeling life of Jack Reacher. His knowledge of the US military, and the power-plays between different branches, is used to great effect here. We also see the motivations driving different ranks and individuals. In this adventure, Reacher is not alone. Plenty of input comes from his female companion, avoiding the chauvinism which many other authors display when creating a powerful male lead character. Read this book as slowly as possible, because once you finish it you will be impatient to get your hands on the next great release from Lee Childs.
Matt Helm: Death of A Citizen by Donald Hamilton
Matt Helm: Death of A Citizen by Donald Hamilton
I was looking for an author to take the place of Lee Childs, now that I have read all the Jack Reacher books. Donald Hamilton was suggested, but this, the first of his books I have read, felt very flat. The writing seemed dated and somehow stilted. I found I did not really care about the hero Matt Helm. Whereas Childs makes you almost a participant in the action, Hamilton leaves you as a mere onlooker, like casually watching an old film on a small TV screen, while eating your dinner. I am not encouraged to read more Matt Helm books.
