Faithfull THPLASTIC 200mm Thermometer Wall Plastic by Faithfull
3.0 out of 5 stars RED not BLUE, 24 July 2014
Just as the other 3 star review said, we too purchased this particular product over it's competitor seller, due to it's blue and not red colour.

With children just only learning to read temperature, I thought that blue below freezing point communicates temperature much better than using red colour (warm/hot association, from colour itself being from the warm family, but also from marking on cold/hot taps etc). And sure enough, when the thermometer arrived, in RED, the first thing my son said was that he doesn't understand why the hot is down and that it was confusing....

Anyway, with it not being worth sending back, and having got a big set of colour sharpies at home,… Read more

What does it mean 'produce of: several countries' and 'EU/Non-EU Agriculture'? So ere these say lovely EU grown organic pinto beans, mixed up with 'slightly less lovely' organic pinto beans grown in China? As some might know, even organic produce of China are not reliable (full of toxic heavy metals from the highly polluted soils) and I am on a mission of finding one that does not originate from there. So far, I have found most of the sellers here providing all sorts of questionable self-contradicting kinds of descriptions reg the origin of their pinto beans, and I must say, this is the most original one so far, but still does not actually tell me anything! 'EU/Non-EU Agriculture' is… Read more

Product details state that this was 'produced in USA', while in the photo, though a bit unclear, one can see that the country of origin is China. First of all, I have read that due to China's heavy soil pollution, even the organically grown products can be so full of heavy metals, that more toxic than those non organic from other countries. Secondly, it is misleading, for the seller to provide two different countries of origin (photo, product listing) either it was grown in China and packaged in USA, or one of them is simply incorrect and untrue. This should be clarified.
