The Last Summer (of You and Me) by Ann Brashares
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Holiday read, 25 Feb 2012
I took this book on holiday to Greece and spent all of my time on the beach reading this novel. It's a really romantic story without being cliche or mushy and predictable.
I finished the book in two days it was that good. The characters are relatable and the book kept me guessing!
If you need a good holiday novel or a good romance, this is a must have!

I remember being read this story at primary school and it captured the whole class' imagination. We later took a class trip to an arbouretum and we all convinced ourselves we could see minpins in the trees. This is the kind of book that will stay with you for life. I true classic and magical in every sense of the word.

I'm really looking forward to the sequel as this is the first book in a while that I didn't want to put down.
Definately worth a read if you love the distopian genre or are just getting in… Read more
