I rarely feel the need to post a review on Amazon since they are so quick to get lost amidst the reems of generally positive reviews posted on any item.
But since this album has had so many great reviews i had to stick my thumb out with the simply opinion that this is a really, really bad album.

It begins with what I was expecting: a new york style strokes rhythm pounding distorted vocals punk song. But as quickly as this song comes into view, they throw it all away. As if to prove that they could do it if they wanted to but don't need to. They continue with a brush between the good bits of Alanis Morrisette crossed with sudden quiet and heartfelt lo-fi Lori Carson tyle. It's a gorgeous album that grows and grows on you.

The other was a little band called SALT with Ausculate. I have to admit that to begin with, only two tracks on this album did anything for me. But as i matured, so did the music with me, and before i knew it the entire album was a bloody fist to the… Read more
