This review is for the latest 10th Edition published April 2013.
I have several editions of The Housebuilder's Bible dating back to the Millenium Edition over 12 years ago. They have always proved to be an invaluable resource for anyone contemplating building their own house or undertaking major work on their existing house. For this alone Mark Brinkley should be commended. Every edition so far has been an improvement on the previous edition with (generally) newer and more detailed information, improved and clearer graphics, more understandable costings and a more readable layout. Until this 10th edition, unfortunately.
