This particular novel moves away from the typical woman desperately seeking man style that often features in romantic novels, including some of Mansell's other titles.
It was refreshing to have a female protagonist often disinterested in the love interest. This enabled other elements of the storyline and the character develop strongly.
An enjoyable read and one to re-read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Charming read, 1 Jun 2010
The plot and characters in this book were well conceived. I first read the novel in my teens and we was glued to the pages, I recently decided to re-read and found it equally as exciting. Definitely worth the read, with initial twists you wouldn't have predicted. A lighter but enjoyable genre of crime fiction.

Whenever I listened to Joyous Celebration, I favoured the songs led by Mthunzi the most. This double disc edition of his live Durban concert is a great mix of the traditional south african music style and contempary gospel. I loved about every track on this record and his miny sermon piece on Mercy. Definately a worthwhile buy. Great music
