Second Coming ~ Stryper
Second Coming ~ Stryper
Fantastic re-recordings from selected songs off their first 3 releases, Yellow & Black Attack, Soldiers Under Command and Too Hell With The Devil, which came out during the mid 80's. Plus 2 new recordings. New re-recordings songs sound heavier and more upto date. Great production and Michael Sweet still sounds amazing. The two new songs sound awesome, so looking forward to the new album they are recording right now. Just a great rock band, with Christian roots. Bless em all!!
Stryper - Live At Java Rockin' Land [DVD] DVD ~ Stryper
5.0 out of 5 stars loud n clear!, 27 Mar 2013
Fantastic gig of Stryper playing in front of a large outdoor show in Indonesia. Playing all the hits from Soldiers under command and Too hell with the Devil and one off Murder by pride. Sound is excellent and so too is the picture quality for SD. If you are a fan, get it. If not, try em, they rock harder than most metal/rock bands of today.

3.0 out of 5 stars good but not great, 8 Nov 2012
When Jack Douglas was announced as a producer for this album i thought, at last a return to the gritty rock and roll sound of the 70's .....well its true to some degree ,and i agree with some of the other reviewers there are still too many crap ballads. Its not the bloody 80's mtv era any more, thats been and gone. Trouble is like Bryan Adams, Aerosmith have a market place with such music and its a shame, as there are some really good rock songs here with steve tyler sounding awesome and the band playing brilliantly. Shame they didn't take leaf out of Kiss's recent recordings and just go balls out rock n roll with no ballads, but hey its still better than just push play...just
