A great little collection, which reminds you what a fab pop band Eighth Wonder were and the myriad of techniques used in 80s remix-o-rama. My only quibble is that it isn't a double CD collection - as there are many mixes missing that could have also been included, though you do get all the 1985-87 singles which are not readily available. Here's to a Volume 2 please!

One of the best albums of the mid 80s no question. The reissue does it no favours by ignoring the majority of the B sides and the remixes from the single releases - and replacing them with pointlessly awful 2014 ones. It is not worth the money and Sony should be ashamed of this 'celebration'.

I love this album since i heard it in november 1984 and saw it live later in december. Its five star, buy it.

But why three stars for the reissue? Because of the slightly odd 'reinvention of the past' road taken. People can take the missing wild horses 12" and progress live tracks - neither are essential, but some fans love them and ignoring that with only 53 minutes on disc two, is somewhat churlish.

What gets my goat, is the three live tracks from 1984 which have had the vocal redone in 2013 - what is the point? It is a 'fake' like a copy of the Mona Lisa - it isnt what i heard live that night and the three tracks therefore sound odd compared to the three where… Read more
