The re-release of the deluxe version of "Grotesque" is a non-Fall fans and a avis Fall fans wet dream. The album is culled from their early output. It comes in the original packaging(jazzed up ever so slightly) and the album is full of classics, I'am talking about "New Face In Hell" , "English Scheme" , " The Impressions Of J. Touch Sensitive:live was recorded in Blackburn 2002 as well as the gig itself there is a short interview with the man many ( including myself see as the ringmaster of the Fall;Mark E. Smith). The interviewer seems overawed by the situation and the interview suffers but your not interested in the performance of the interviewer or the interview itself. The gig was filmed in glorious digital with digital sound to match and as as a fan at the gig on the night it sounds whole the DVD sounds a lot better than the sound on the night.Personally |I was a bit let down by their supposed run through their pravious 25 years of musical output there were literally hundreds that could have been included and… Read more
