I came to this series late (as I usually do) and have not seen series 1. So when I did catch up with series 2 I found it absorbing and superbly acted, although a little confusing given my lack of background from the first series.
In particular it was refreshing to see a drama as inventive and intelligent as the current Scandi-craze shows... Edge of Darkness and Tinker Tailor to name just two.
So why not 5 stars? Like some other reviewers I found the last episode a (no pun intended) cop-out, with its scramble to show what happened in flashback and tie up loose ends.
