This is an excellent rock album that's also packed full of good tunes and interesting, inventive lyrics. The vocals are light and hesitant, backed by a delightful juxtaposition of crunching rock riffs and melodic guitar. The quality of the recording isn't first class, but it all adds to the appeal of the distinctly underground sound on show here. Stand out tracks include: 'Caffine Avalanche'; 'Radar Response'; 'Where is Charlie Brown?'; and the haunting, acoustic 'Edge Of The Swimming Pool'.
