Love In The Age Of War ~ Men Without Hats
Love In The Age Of War ~ Men Without Hats
If you ever wondered what happened to Men Without Hats or like Sisters of Mercy or Kraftwerk/ Ultravox etc. then get this CD. After a couple of plays most of the tracks have become instant classics for me - Everybody Knows, Love's Epiphany, Your Beautiful Heart, Live and Learn, The Girl with the Silicon Eyes...this CD is a work of genius and deserves 6 Stars at least. How about some more tour dates in the UK, Ivan? A stunning album!

This track - and a few others on this 2012 release - is as good as anything in their 80's heyday.
Alfresco -The Complete Series [1983] [DVD] DVD ~ Stephen Fry

Like most people I enjoy the work of most, if not all, of these individuals - or have done, but this is poor stuff from their early days (1983). Better to catch Hugh and Stephen in Jeeves and Wooster or Fry and Laurie, Robbie in Cracker or Siobhan in Bullman.
