4.0 out of 5 stars Wow......, 15 Feb 2012
When my friends ask me what music I actually like to listen to (I'm very picky about my music taste) I proudly state that I love Arcade Fire, Interpol and Florence + the machine. The first song I heard was 'Rabbit Heart' and I thought it was stunning. 'You got the love' came second then 'I'm not calling you a liar'. Soon I had heard all of them and a lot of them had given me a taste of many emotions all at once.
My three favourites are:

'My Boy builds coffins' with it's quick but smooth beat, almost like gliding across still waters, and the melodic lyrics, disturbing but beautiful.

'Cosmic Love' how it starts off strong and bold but ends with a gentle melody on… Read more

I watched Inception the other night and I couldn't believe I had forgotten how simply amazing it is.

The plot is gripping, visually stunning (even after the third watch) complex and detailed (I never understood all these sorry people who have come away saying, 'It was boring and I didn't understand it')and the touching personal life of the main character is simply beautiful. The ending is superb and I was almost sad that it finished.

The only problem is that it does go on a bit long...

It is truly a masterpiece and more and it is my favourite film of all time.

I hope everyone finds something to like, if not love, in this film.
Courtney Crumrin & the Night Things by Ted Naifeh
I am Mark Rowland Jones' eleven year old daughter and I got the books for my ninth birthday off a friend of mine. I started reading and I realised these books weren't your average comic.

They were dark, mysterious and, in a strange way, sweet. Yes, there was quite a bit of language but of course, at the age of nine, children find it incredibly grown up and daring and I found it irresistable to read. My favourite characters are Butterworm and Butterbug. And not to mention the terrifying Tommy Rawhead that kept me awake at night for days.

A stunning collection of comics made for the people who want something a bit creepy yet sophisticated.
I loved them.
