Extended Life Liver of Sulfur Patina Oxidation Gel&hellip by Beadsmith

Very easy to use tarnishing gel. Use in a very well ventilated space (smells like rotten eggs) and keep well away from acids. Mix your neutraliser (baking soda/sodium bicarbonate) solution BEFORE you start - it tarnishes very quickly especially if you use hot water. Use the tiniest amount to get warm tones with hints of other colours, a very pale straw coloured solution, or a little more to get bronzey blacks. Use gloves and wash well in water after neutralisation. No powders or grit left after use and easy to get the solution strength you require.

Lovely feel to the fabric - plenty of room in the body - will definitely buy from this company again - just remember to take out the collar stays before washing. Very fast delivery and nicely packed in a sturdy box!
Goldwork: Techniques, Projects and Pure Inspiratio&hellip by Hazel Everett

This is a clearly written book which has good pictures to help you set up your frame and transfer your design, shows you the best order to work elements of the design and how to use the various threads. I would have liked to see the inclusion of a suppliers list for the uninitiated and the design for the Coronation Sampler, particularly as this would have made a great Jubilee project. But an easy to follow book, which has taught me new things even though I have been goldworking for over 15 years!
