5.0 out of 5 stars a beautiful book, 10 Mar 2014
My partner opened the parcel and thought this was an art book. I've never seen a knitting book like this - beautiful photos but the garments really shine through and are photographed from all views so you can really see the cut and fit.

The patterns are quite complex, even for an experienced knitter. There are several patterns that I plan to knit but the sizes are for shorter women, so careful planning is needed.

The yarns used are gorgeous.

An expert knitter will be spoiled for choice. A novice will have something to aspire to.

5.0 out of 5 stars a gripping read, 23 Sep 2013
I am a David Peace fan. I like his writing style.

I am probably an unusual reader of the book in that I hate football. I'm not interesting in it, I've never seen a football match and I know nothing about football history. And yet I'm gripped. I started reading this book last night and I can't put it down.

I don't know how the story is going to unravel, so I'm finding each Liverpool match full of suspense. I'll be supporting Liverpool for the duration of the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars wonderful bread, 8 April 2013
I love this book. I've made the apricot couronne and the chocolate and apricot sourdough. The book is worth it for these alone. I will be using this book a lot. Well worth buying if you are interested in breadmaking.
