I can still remember saving up my pocket money to buy this pack when I was younger, and after I got my hands on it I never looked back.
2 games, a bonus cd, a novel and a comic (or graphic novel) for less than 30 quid, not a bad deal.
Sins of the Fathers: (the first game) Puts you in control of Gabriel Knight a New Orleans author and book store owner who is down on his luck and beautify rendered in hand drawn animation. As Gabriel is embroiled in a mysterious Voodoo cult with connections into his past you will be enthralled by the story. The phrase very good, dose not do this master peice justice. Jensen's writing is execlent, to me it seems to be perfectly suted to a teenage audence, but I still read it so anyone can enjoy it (Not recomended for younger pepole, due to language). The writing just seems to flow seemlesly, washing you away in the torrent of mystery and intreague. The cherkters match thouse in the game.
The fact it has been taken from a game dose not dampen it at all, what could have been ernous wrting, or seemingly ilogical leaps of intuition to work through the puzles was well integrated. The suspence and tencion is bult up throught leaving you unable to put it down.
