5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, 1 May 2014
This board game is absolutely excellent - have been playing this set for nearly 3 years now and still not tired of it. It is a game which is simply designed but brilliantly formulated, with an atmosphere of suspense to keep you going throughout the game no matter how fed up or tired you are. It is not such an aggressive game, you may block the other players at certain points but it is not really a die-hard competitive game like Monopoly, and has none of the gimmicks which kind of take the fun out of so many board games nowadays. It is much better to play this game with the 1912 expansion than by itself as then you get many more routes and therefore makes the game much more interesting… Read more
Gavin And Stacey - Series 1-3 And 2008 Christmas S&hellip DVD ~ Ruth Jones
As Nessa would say "Ohhhh... this set is immense!" This is a fabulous collection of episodes of a very funny series - a well-crafted mixture of comedy and romance that not only makes you laugh but leaves you with a warm fuzzy glow. In a way, it resembles a family film split over several episodes and without the constant background music you find in films. This series is funny, interesting, warm and happy. Definitely worth buying - you don't know how good it is until you see it!
Europe By Rail: The Definitive Guide for Independe&hellip by Nicky Gardner
5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful book, 20 Feb 2014
This book is excellent for anyone wishing to take a trip by train within Europe. The book contains 50 routes across European countries (for example, Barcelona to Lisbon, Budapest to Istanbul and Berlin to Krakow), and a guide to hub cities across Europe (London, Paris, Rome, Berlin, Budapest, Belgrade etc). I have found this route very useful; it explains the scenery of the routes included, the trains you should take and the best places to visit along the way. You should definitely buy this if you're considering making a particular journey in Europe but do not know exactly which trip to do and you are in need of ideas.
