In My Own Words:

Chris Carter is one of my favourite authors so i knew i was in for a treat, wow i was, this book is his best yet.
The slightly predictable plot in places did nothing to dampen my enthusiasim for this thrill ride of a story.
This book will appeal more to someone who has read all the rest of the Hunter series first, as some of the revelations in this book have been a long time coming, absolutely brilliant.

Another problem i have with this book are the basic errors, for instance, how can a suspected baddie point at someone or massage their own neck or shin if they have their arms handcuffed tightly behind their back?
Must be double jointed baddies in Luke Delaney land.
DI Corrigan also becomes less and less likable as time goes on, he is a mostly unpleasant person and i don't think there is a woman on this earth that would put up with the amount of crap he gives his wife.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely brilliant!, 19 Jun 2014
I have read all of Chris Carters books but this one is his best yet,a real edge of your seat entertaining thrill ride and totally impossible to put down.
If you haven't read any of his books so far this one is an excellent place to start,be warned though this book is by far his most gory one yet, more horror than crime thriller in parts.
Can't wait for the next one!
