Our daughter had this game as a child, so we were pleased to be able to buy it for our 6 year old grandaughter for her birthday. She loves it. Having mastered Frustration this opens up new possibilities for different strategies to capture her opponents' pieces.It is well made and good value for money. Highly recommended.
I only read the first two reviews on Amazon, so decided that it wasn't worth buying. I wish I'd read more, because actually it is quite good. The current Amazon list price makes it a bargain. My grandaughter had it for her 6th birthday and brought it here so we could play it. The cupcake playing pieces and the parcel charms are made of plastic, and are quite solid. The board is of similar quality to the ordinary version of Monopoly and features types of parties, rather than properties. There are some features of the main game, such as Go To Jail, Jail, Free Parking and Go. There are also Chance cards. It is a good game for a child learning the art of playing board games… Read more
If a good book is one you don't want to end, then this is a good book. I really enjoyed it, partly because I have been to the part of Australia where it is set, but also because I found the story quite gripping. I hope there will be more to come from Kate Grenville.
