I was diagnosed with Pernicious Anaemia 5 years ago after self diagnosing and requesting a test. This book highlights the difficulties with diagnosis and with getting the treatment regime right. It also provides detailed information about what it is and what the symptoms are both before and after treatment non of which seems to be available from the NHS. I am very grateful for this as it has helped me to stop worrying that there is something else wrong with me.I found the book well written easy to understand and entertaining which is quite an achievement given it's subject matter! Many thanks to Martyn.
