Simply the best biographical book on karate! I've reread this book on numerous occasions. Highly recommended if you have an interest in Kyokushin karate.

I don't often buy books on Shotokan karate, but the statement; 'In Autumn 2013 Scott sent this book to his Sensei in Japan for their approval. They responded immediately declaring the book to be full of lies and misrepresentations of Japan and forbade him to publish it. He was suspended for a month and then affectively expelled in January 2014', did intrigued me! The book arrived quire quickly and I finished it within two days. The book is similar to Twigger's 'Angry White Pyjamas' (Aikido) and Law's 'The Pyjama Game' (Judo), but this time covering Karate.
