It's pretty and does the job nicely. I doubt that it is worth the price, but I decided to buy it anyway rather than fiddle about looking for something cheaper.
We needed to replace our old thermometer which had been positioned badly – we could see it, but any strong sun would cause inaccurate readings.
This device is very much better. The face is clear and easy to read and the detector is positioned around the other side of the house where the sun will not affect it. It was extremely easy to install and I would recommend it to anybody.
I am no chef, but am not keen on 'sausage & burger' BBQ's. I wanted a selection of interesting recipes that were simple to prepare and simple to cook. This book is excellent: very clear pictures and idiot-proof instructions. I am now starting to think about "skewer parties" and a few other more adventurous ideas, so if the rain stops before November I will be ready!
A fine book. Buy it - you will not be disappointed.
