Learning styles vary but I find it hard to believe you can learn a language without looking at the printed word and following some grammar guidelines. This said, these CDs are superb in themselves, for listening and repeating. They are top material for basic communication.

Apparently you are supposed to follow someone's journey in Brazil and learn from their experience, but you don't. Language guidelines are minimal and scattered. You never get the full answer to anything. The whole thing is feeble, there isn't a sound structural framework behind it.

A change of cover but not much improvement on the previous edition. This is neither a grammar nor a book on verbs. It's no more that what you get in any good course book where you also get a lot more. Sorry but not worth the money!
