Fully agree with the previous reviewer, the quality of sound is very poor it sort of sounds as if the band are a long distance from the singer and in a huge box.
Unless you are a Montrose completist I would avoid this.

This was a change of direction for Stan from the blues based albums on blue horizon to a more rock sound for his first Deram recording.

This album contains Stan's signature song poor boy also a great version of If I were a Carpenter and a very extended drum solo on Telling your Fortune.

All in all this is avery good album and if you like your blues rock this is a must have.

The wonderful sweetest little thing written about his mum and breaking into Johnny Csh's hurt in the middle is just brilliant.

Having seen Stan many times over the years this man should have had much more sucess than he had.

Yes this is a re-issue but if you missed it first time around get this as it really is what Stan is all about, if you can I would recommend getiing a copy of the DVD as… Read more
