Pros: Looks great and sounds good too. (provided you have a decent set of speakers of course)
Cons: Very noisy (feedback to speakers) when power button is turned on.
No large master volume (as stated) so easier to operate by remote rather than manual. (inoperative when an external source such as a CD player is in use)
No batteries included either. (a small issue, but important for those of us who are impatient to 'set up' straight from the box:-)
Even though the dimensions are as stated - get ready for a very large machine!
... and watch out for the very short mains cable too.

A great product!
Cannot see the need (though have never bought it) for forking out the extra expense for the 2010 version.
The default protection settings are near perfect ( only (personally) needing to tweak the 'Update run mode' time(s))
