5.0 out of 5 stars another corker!, 5 Aug 2014
Well done Elly, another really good plot with believable characters. Just a little more archaeology would be nice! A very enjoyable read.

This may have something to do with the quality of the translation, but this had the feel of being a first attempt at writing a novel. It is very linear, and the characters require much more depth and the plot more richness in order for the book to be enjoyable.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing., 1 Jun 2014
I was really looking forward to reading this, having thoroughly enjoyed The Pilgrimage of Harold Fry. Whereas the Pilgrimage was fresh and exciting, Perfect was dull and contrived by comparison.
