The Stone Roses: Made of Stone (2-Disc Collectors &hellip DVD ~ The Stone Roses

sometimes this film make the viewer cry; old pictures and videos of the band are shown inbetween the new scenes, shot in 2012 during the legendary reunion giving the bittersweet feeling that time flies but the Stone Roses are still here with their immortal tunes, their charismatic presence and the heartbreaking nostalgia that their music gives to those who were there in 1989; shame they only released two albums. Shane Meadows' work is a labour of love, he's a fan, and everyone can see it watching the film. I truly recommend it both for the old and the new fan

this book is a little treasure truly recommended both for those who were young and indie at the time, like me, and those who are young and indie now; hundreds of colour and black & white photos of various band members such as the Pastels, My Bloody Valentine or the Jesus & Mary Chain; its a bizarre and interesting trip into the fashions and indie lifestyle of the 80s.

The first DVD of the legendary Scottish Band is a real milestone; an excellent product; it features a full lenght concert (high emotions guaranteed) and 13 videos of the most-loved hits of the band, all very beautiful. It shows a band who knows how to do it, real professional and passionate musicians and an amazing frontman in the shape of Bobby G. This is a band who changed the course of modern British music and this video shows the best of them.
