A bit of background on me: Pre-pregnancy I was pretty fit, using Davina's, Nell McAndrew's and Jeanette Jenkins' dvds (and a few others too)about four times a week - plus long walks with our hound throughout the week. My plan, after getting pregnant, was to continue with these for as long as possible then switch to pregnancy-specific dvds in the third trimester. But, at 7 weeks, we found out I was carrying twins and there were various complications which meant a total ban on exercise other than yoga, swimming and walking. Ok so I'm not an Hour of Power trainer and had never actually heard of Rajko before Amazon recommended this dvd - but I'm soooo glad they did. I'm reasonably fit - but have some back problems - and normally use Davina / Nell McAndrew / Jeanette Jenkins dvds for a cardio / toning workout alternated with yoga or pilates for a bit more toning and a more 'spiritual' exercising fix.
I watched a clip of this dvd and decided to give it go and have to say it has exceeded my expectations and actually combines my favourite elements from all of the above. As great as Davina Fit was I, and some other reviewers, felt there just wasn't quite enough there for a top-notch workout. Not so with Davina Body Buff. You really are spoiled for choice. If you want to do a whole hour of intense cardio you can do, want to do 40 mins of super toning? It's right there. Pushed for time? You can just do the warm-up and one shorter section. Basically, you can mix and match the five workout sections (plus warm up and cool down of course!!) however you like!! Genius!!
