First off I love John's music over the years, from Extrapolation, with Santana, the Mahavishnus, Shakti etc etc he has shown himself to be the most innovative, challenging, spiritual living musician. I Met the Blues at Klooks Kleek ~ Graham Bond

Borrowed this record from Crewe Town Library in early 70's. Hadn't heard it for years till I bought this CD recently. Its just so great. Close your eyes and you're in a smokey intimate blues dive. Sweaty and raucous. Dodgy sound quality and raw raw r and b. Graham Bonds passion for the music shines through..."just hold that note there! - got the note, yeah! come on one more time..." So cool.
