South: The Story of Shackleton's 1914-1917 Expedit&hellip by Sir Ernest Henry Shackleton
A must for all adventurers, whether actual or armchair! Brings to life the day to day experiences of truly tough men in the harshest of climates; not sure many of us nowadays could do what these guys did! Excellent read and fantastic detail - great book!
Snowdon (OS Explorer Map Active) by Ordnance Survey
Thought the activity maps were a bit gimmicky until I bought this one; wouldn't buy a standard map again now. No need to laminate (already done), doesn't tear, doesn't stay wet and you can use it without a map case - brilliant!
A Pocket Guide to Snowdon: A Guide to the Routes o&hellip by Russell R. Roberts

Very useful little guide book; used it to decide the route to complete the Snowdon Horseshoe. Have to be used in conjunction with a map but does add to the experience with little nuggets of intersting information. Recommend to anyone doing a route up/down Snowdon
