2.0 out of 5 stars Laborious read, 23 July 2014
Laborious. I stuck with it but it seemed like a very thin and predictable story padded out into a whole book. I love Dick Francis books and having reread them all tried this and another, as I thought John Francombe might be a good alternative. He is simply not in the same class

2.0 out of 5 stars too repetitive, 16 Feb 2014
The possible usefulness of the book/method was hidden in the dreadfully repetitive text. Not only were the same phrases (candida, food intolerance, hypoglycaemia) repeated as many as 4 times one one page but the content of whole pages were virtually duplicated. I found this made the tone condescending, as if the reader couldn't possibly understand without reading the same thing over and over. With a better style the book could have been reduced in length by at least 50% and I might have read it all instead of skipping long sections. Good idea badly written.
