Linux Cookbook: Tips and Techniques for Everyday U&hellip by Michael Stutz
5.0 out of 5 stars Starting with Linux ?, 19 July 2014
This is a good book for anyone who is just starting with a Linux system and want to get a working computer running Linux. Supplied from, and ex-library stock this was well worth the couple of pounds paid.
Return to the Olive Farm by Carol Drinkwater
Return to the Olive Farm by Carol Drinkwater
An interesting account of Carol's dealings with people she encountered at various times since her return from her travels exploring olives. Officials and others open your eyes to the true way of French life. The reaction of them when she want to convert to organic olive growing after the loss of all a friends honey bees shows that not all ' healthy ' food is healthy. A good read and worth it if you like biographies of everyday life.
4.0 out of 5 stars Clear rear view, 3 Mar 2014
It's difficult to get enthusiastic over a window wiper. This does the job of clearing water and spray from the rear window.
The service was good and delivery quick. Once I got the old one off fitting simple. Because the spindle is tapered is does fit tight and a puller tool is needed to remove it without damaging the glass or spindle. This is quite cheap to buy around a fiver and also easy to use.
