5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, 5 Nov 2010
I heard the song on a few websites and then saw Diana's performance on the X Factor. The song grew on me more and more and as well as My Wicked Heart there are a couple of club remixes and another quieter song on the CD as well. The song has what seems to me to be a marching rhythm and is a little different to what's on her album. I have huge respect for her as a singer and a songwriter because too many singers can't even manage to write their own songs.
Even if this song hasn't struck you straight away it's worth buying because with a few listens it'll grow on you and you'll definitely find it's stuck in your head and you're singing or humming it yourself.

The book explains the scientific concepts making every effort to remain accessible to everyone who has a will to learn and understand them but is daunted by delving deeply into complicated maths. There is some mathematics but only where necessary and it's really quite simple to follow. It doesn't patronise those who have a greater understanding of science but it won't go over the heads of those who are only just finding their feet by bombarding them with lots of pompous jargon and mind boggling equations.

This album shows what Diana can do when allowed to produce her own music and isn't constrained by what she had to sing in the X Factor. She has really found her confidence and has produced songs that really allow her quirky personality to show through. The album is far from the ordinary generic pop stuff that generally comes from talent contest participants as a last ditch attempt at fame before they disappear into obscurity. Diana has written the lyrics and music for many of these songs herself and My Hip where she plays the trumpet is one of the really fantastic songs where her wide ranging talent shows through.
