English Woman, Arab Man by Alison Legh-Jones
English Woman, Arab Man by Alison Legh-Jones
This is a well written book about a young woman who goes on holiday with a friend to an Arab country (we are not told which)and has a fling with a young, penniless Arab. After she returns home to England she decides to give up her conservative life and go back and live with him. The book tells how challenging life is for a foreign woman in the Arab world and how different it is living there as opposed to being a tourist. A very enjoyable read!

I must admit that I always look for the ultimate happy ending in a novel though and I am not going to say whether… Read more

I gave this doll to my granddaughter for her second birthday and she loved it straight away. The doll is soft and very appealing and just the right size for little hands. She has a lovely baby like smell!
