The Snap Circuits Jr kit is brilliant. It is so easy to use and comes with a book to show what circuits can be made. My son is 7 years old. He has autism and adhd and often struggles with games like this, as he gets easily frustrated. However, this has held his interest and he gets a lot out of playing with it. I highly recommend it to anyone with kids around age 6 - 10 with inquisitive minds! So nice to see something being played with which isn't a laptop or a tablet, etc.

For me it did what it claimed to do.

I paired it with a TBS-6891 Dual DVB-S2 card and run it as the family win7 media center box (i.e. instead of a humax or similar). After updating the nvidia drivers etc, I can happily stream 1080p from youtube, hop between the HD satellite channels and record different channels. The interface is snappy enough and once a proper media center remote was obtained, it fulfilled all expectations. Board was fan-free, recommend you try get a PSU equally fan-free. I went for a thermaltake shuttle and it's far from quiet despite being described as that.
