Emperor (GOLLANCZ S.F.) by Stephen Baxter
3.0 out of 5 stars Light Bedtime Reading, 9 Aug 2013
This story is little more than light bedtime reading that you can pick up and put down at a moments notice. It never really gets going and is more a chronicle of events set against the declining Roman Empire and emerging Christianity than a gripping novel that grabs your imagination and leads you to a climactic ending.

This is after all a learning tool, not a classical work that requires appropriate reverence.

I too am endeavouring to become a qualified game angling instructor, but very quickly realised after day one of the Level 2 Certificate… Read more
