It is suggested that you read Maritime Miscellany before you with great pleasure ( I am sure) dig into 'The life of Thomas Kydd'. read them all, they are fantastic and each book is different. Good reading.

Any submariner who has been 'on scene unseen' after 1945 should read this book.
A lot of things will seem similar, but soon one realises that our experiences are nothing compared to what those gentlemen, who fought the war, had to endure.
A very good reading.

Some play bridge, others knit, but the true 'mind winder' is making knots. Sometimes it is 'nerve' wrecking, but the results are most satisfying. A very good (and cheap) entertainment
