I run this around my study to a little splitter that lets my wife and me share an older USB laser. Saved having to invest in wireless and allowed us to rearrange the furniture to suit ourselves better. Works perfectly at a good price.
I have an eyesight problem that means that the more light I have in the orchestra pit the better. On those occasions when I don't have a "pro" stand provided, this fits the bill.
It took my 5 year old laptop and made it much faster than a recently bought fast desktop. I've now bought 3 or 4 of these and recommended them to others. I won't ever run a laptop without an SSD again.
