Farringdon Collection 18cm Non-Freeze Ice Cream Sc&hellip by Faringdon Collection
We previously had two fairly mediocre ice cream scoops that we had bought on a whim, my main issues with these were the ice cream refusing to come out of the spoon making it tricky to get a nice smooth Ďscoopí of ice cream, then you have to prize the scoop out using a spoon and it ends up looking a bit of a mess.

Having seen a lot of professional chefs use one shaped like this Farringdon One, I took the plunge (ok not much of a plunge at this price!). And I do not understand how, perhaps itís a slightly shallower scoop than my last ones, but the same brand of ice cream comes effortlessly out of this scoop, so itís a small thing but Iím very pleased and would recommend for all… Read more
Long Life Lamp Company LLLC27SMDCW GU10 5 Watt LED&hellip by Long Life Lamp Company
We have 11 GU10ís in our kitchen and wanted to cut down from the 550 watts of power we were using when we turned the lights.

Installation was very simple, the size of the bulbs is the same as a standard halogen GU10 (please see the images Iíve uploaded for a comparison) making a simple swap-out the most basic of jobs.

To go from using 550 watts to just 55 is clearly a huge difference. Based on current electricity prices I've calculated it to be around 1,200 hours (probably around 18 months for us) of use for these bulbs to pay for themselves and then weíre saving money (and electricity which is always good).

The previous Philips GU10 50W bulbs we were using… Read more

I bought this for my wife a couple of months ago after hearing frequent complaints about her previous mat (made of a thick material that didnít grip the dressing table).

In short she is very pleased with it, another one of those purchases you wish youíd thought to make months ago.

The mat is very thick and heavy duty so it stays put wherever you put it down, just a shame itís not really suitable for travel due to its weight and thickness Ė so you cannot wrap it around the ends of your straighteners, but this isnít itís intended purpose and it does make an excellent protector, I think you could leave your straighteners on all day and it would be fine (not sure your… Read more
