Hometime Alarm Clock Teach The Time by Hometime
We bought this alarmclock for our daughter to help her getting a bit more independent. It helps reading the time by having clear numbers and coloured segments for quarter past, half past, quarter to and o'clock as well as the minutes for the minute hand.
The only snag is that the hand for the waking time is not very precise. For a given waking time the hand has to be put almost a quarter of an hour earlier. After ringing, it carries on for a whole hour, which means, that we can't set it, when my daughter goes to bed, because her bedtime is still in the interval of the ringing.

We found the first Claude story in the library, and my daughter, who was six at the time, started reading it immediately. The stories are funny and quirky, and the illustrations just as nice.
The Claude books are excellent for first readers, because they are easy and short enough to read, but they are imaginative and not at all patronising, as many books for first readers can be.

I came across this kind of towels because I was looking for some lightweight ones to take on holiday. They are perfect. They don't take any space at all, are soft and dry quickly, yet absorb the water satisfactory. As a bonus, they are bright and colourful.
Delivery was very fast, although they came all the way from Turkey.
