After watching Mr Connolly's interview on BBC Breakfast, I had high expectations of this book. I am a fan of the classic crime fiction (Christie, Conan Doyle, Highsmith, Tey, etc,etc) and thought this book was the perfect read. I was not disappointed.

The book is full of fantastic essays. I must be honest and say I am not a fan of every single essay present in the book. I should say that there are 120 essays in this book and if your reaslistic, you expect a few that fall below the par. To be honest, the reason I am less fond of a few of these essays is because they make the assumption that the reader has already read the book being discussed (which isn't always the case). Kindle Keyboard, Wi-Fi, 6" E Ink Display by Kindle
I am 4th year history student and I can say with absolute confidence that this is proving to be a great aid in my work and my favourite piece of kit!!

Not only does my Kindle look great it feels great. It is so light and easy to hold which makes prolonged use easy. It also slips easily into my bag, taking up very little space.

While many of the books I need to read may not be available on the Kindle store, which I understand has been regarded as a negative aspect) I argue that this is to be expected. I am sure that over time more publishers will make their books available.

I am a runner and I also work in an outdoor store where Throlos are our top selling socks. These socks are fantastic for running or even for day to day wear. We had a representative from Thorlos come to our store; after he had gone through the technical benefits of the sock, I decided to give them a go.

Having fallen arches I found my feet became very painful during and after runs. If I was running for too long I found I would get blisters easily. Since using my Thorlos I have no such issues and I now use them every time I run. The socks are, as long as you wash them with fabric conditioner and properly dry between uses, blister-proof.
