Probably the most sobering and well written apocalyptic novel about WW 3 I've ever read.
And I've read a few.

Absolutely chilling account of how London would fare under nuclear attack, what we could and could not expect from the authorities, and the damage that would be done to London as a whole. It shows how even a small single bomb would bring unimaginable damage and chaos, death and disorder to London... If the attack was as as bad as would be expected it shows how London would cease to be a functioning city for thousands of years in an instant.
If you like nuclear politics, and ego political science this is definitely one book worth hunting down to add to your library. It was only in print for a short time, so copies are reasonably scarce. And yes, it's terrifying that it could indeed all… Read more

Tis ok.... Nice to find this on cd finally and add to my I music collection, it has a few well known hits on it, but even the filler tracks are ok, it's one of those albums where the sheer talent and genius of the artist shines through.
It has tracks you can't get anywhere else, as the CD listings seem to be different depending on where the album was released.
He really was very very good, wasn't he?
